Saturday, April 11, 2009

Today is an extremely busy day for both of us. We were practically cleaning and cleaning our house since the moment we woke up. But of course in between the cleaning time, I am preparing our food for lunch as well. I am preparing Udon for lunch and utilizing the black pepper sauce that I had bought earlier this year in Sarawak during our company meeting.

Black Pepper Udon.. Love the colour combination..

2 packs Udon
6 cabbage leaves (shredded)
6 medium sized prawn (de-shelled)
2 medium size carrots (shredded)
1 fish cake (sliced)
1 tbsp onion (chopped)
3 tbsp pepper sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp dark soya sauce (for colour) optional
spring onions and red chilli (garnishing)

  1. Blanch Udon in boiling water, dish and drain.
  2. Heat oil in wok, fry onion, then add in prawns, carrots, cabbage and fish cake and fry until fragrant.
  3. Then add in Udon, black peper sauce ,other seasoning and water until sauce dry up, serve.
  4. Dish up and sprinkle with spring onions and red chillis.
