Peng Heong Hakka Paikut

Sunday, December 20, 2009

It was one of the lazy Sundays where we hang around the house doing nothing. Since our usual makan kakis called us and wanted to come over to our place to play our new bought Wii, we decided to venture into Klang town to have our lunch. Our lunch destination today is Peng Heong Hakka Paikut Restaurant located in the Klang town centre (somewhere nearby the Mosque). This is our first time in this place. We reach about 11 am plus and it was already almost full with people. We had a look at their menus and they offered different varieties of Hakka dishes. Their pricing were reasonable ranging from RM6, 8 and 10 and 12. For those who wanted to samples different types of dishes at one go, you can basically ordered RM6 for few different types of dishes; that was what we did for our lunch.

Their menu.

Hakka Paikut. Juicy and tender. Thumbs up! RM6 only for quite a big portion.

Hakka Char Yoke aka Meatballs. Each meatball cost RM1. Another thumbs UP!

Pig Trotter in Black Vinegar (RM6) - above average for my taste. However my 2 of the makan kakis said that it was good.

Mutton Curry. Another RM 6. Thumbs up!

Lettuce in Oyster Sauce.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the place. Their service was fast and food was good and reasonable. I'll definitely put this place in my usual makan place list. Overall damage for this meal is around RM40 plus.
